its normal its ingrown hairs usually it happends when you scratch because its itchy my best method is always been DON"T SCRATCH! lol if you scratch you get a rash and it gets that redness if you shave consistently your body will get used to it and you won't get that rash and that itchy redness will go away

this is going to sound really strange but i read that deodarant with aloe vera helps!! weird i know but its been tried and tested by me!! just spray it lightly and far enough away from your body. anything with aloe vera is great for soothing skin and exfoliating also prevents ingrown hairs.
try using a shaving foam for sensitive skin also.
