He’s not my friend anymore and I was really hurt by this at first. Anyways, I also liked him more than a friend so it was even harder for me to let him go. I’m trying to forget about him and it’s been going great. I deleted him from my phone and everything. And just when I think that he’s out of my life and I’ve stopped thinking about him. He shows up in one of my dreams and we are making out and spending time together. That hurt so bad because it’s what I wanted out of our two year friendship that had just gone bad. I wish these dreams would just go away so that I don’t try to be friends with this guy again and get hurt again. What can I do? I don’t think much but thanks for your help anyways! I'm really confused by these dreams. How can I make these dreams go away? Reply to this Question Share |

Hello. I always think of dreams as the mind going through the cupboards and having a good spring clean! Getting rid of thoughts it doesnt need. I think you are getting over the end of the friendship very well, so just give it a little more time. The dreams will stop sooner if you dont dwell on him too much during the day time. I know its easy for me to say, but try not to think about him too much. Busy your mind with other things when your thoughts start to stray in his direction. The less you can think about him, the less "tidying" your mind will need to do at night. I get the feeling you are still very hurt. If you give it a fair amount of time to get over things but you really cant, it might be an idea to just talk to him and find the closure you need x

Dreams generally don't mean anything and there's not a whole you can do to control them other than not sleeping. Eventually they will lessen. I like the scotch idea! Haha.

Since dreams happen when you are unconscious, there isn't a whole lot you can do about them. Hopefully they will become less frequent as time goes by. Maybe try an over the counter sleep aid, like scotch.
