I've just fallen in love with a man who is not my gorgeous tall dark husband. instead, he's skinny, funny, tall and most of all, he challenges me. I fell for his peronality, and his smile (while not the most gorgeous one in the world) was a beacon to me. My brother always hated me growing up, I was the confident girl with the good looks and he felt the opposite even though he wasnt. He met his ideal woman who felt exactly the same about herself and they were soulmates. I know which I would rather be, as I wish I had married my soulmate who has just come along instead of the other dude. He's just had his first child with her and been married for 5 years. Trust me, you'll find love rather than lust much easier than the preppy perfect people.

-Sex and shorter relationships - looking "hot" will benefit you and get you this kind of girlfriend, but realise that it won't last forever. You'll want to get a new hairstyle, work out, etc.
-Something longer, such as marriage - the kinds of girls you'll want to be with won't care much about your appearance. Be fit and healthy and clean and smart, but do it for yourself, not to attract someone.
P.S. I'm a girl, and I honestly prefer brunets! Just my £0.02. And there's nothing wrong with looking Thai.
