It's not the "usual" I am guessing and I know most men like the "public" places idea, the thought that you might get caught and not the...most likely to get caught places.
There is still the dinner and touching under the table as it is a public place and there are not too many people who will say anything to touching and groping under that table as it really isn't there business to look under the table.
Then maybe retire to the bubble bath and massage oils...but I am guessing your man will be quite ready to have at.
There is always going with the moment and not relying on the "planned" stuff.

 I suggest that you don't put too much pressure on this night. Of course be excited and eager to make it amazing, but be careful not to become too nervous as this will only end in disaster or disappointment.
So really, think of it in two ways: calmly think it's just making love, you've done it before and it will all be ok. But also, to make sure it's something truly amazing, keep in mind that it is your first time with this guy and you may as well start as you mean to go on!
Get some candles and massage oils, spend a lot of time getting each other sexed up first. This will make it all the more intense when you finally get to down to business, as neither of you will be able to wait any longer!! Be a good giver: make sure it's pretty even, you do the same amount of stuff to each other, don't be selfish! On the other hand, don't take over either!
All I can say to you, really, is to go with it and relax. If it's meant to be amazing, it will be and, if not, then that's fine. A lot of people's first memories of sex at all or with a certain person are fumbling and a bit crazy.
