A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

hi, my girlfriend and i have been dating for a few months now but sometimes i feel like i really don't like her that much. i am a junior in high school . however, she is also my best friend and i know i love her no matter what. every time we fight i get afraid and paranoid that she is going to break up with me. ive talked to her and she feels this feeling too. is this normal? i know that i really really love her a lot as a best friend and a girl friend but i don't feel as passionate or happy anymore. i often think about marrying her even though i am still young because i love here that much and we have so much in common. is there anything i can do so that i will learn to love her more and always be happy around her?

My opinion you are putting too much thought into loving her. It should come naturally. Take a step back, let things flow. Whatever happens, happens. You are still young and love can sometimes be confusing at any age. Stop thinking about how to love her better and just let it happen. Naturally.
