All the people that are telling you to do squats, running, lunges...ect.... are kinda wrong for the fact that the excercise will just turn the fat into muscle so your not really going to lose much off your legs you will just weigh more when you step on the scales because muscle weighs more than fat the best thing to do is stick to a low callorie diet for a while (not to long tho because you dont want to lose to much weight) This is no promise that you will lose weight from your legs because its up to your body as to where you lose weight :)
Hope I helped

For dinner (tea?) eat lots of salads (stock up on the bags of salad at Tesco or Sainsbury's etc), eat lots and lots of salad with a tin of tuna (in water not sunflower oil) or with salmon (tinned or fresh, doesn't matter). For breakfast, have a low fat yoghurt (stock up on the big tubs which say nearly no-fat) but have as much tea or coffee as you like (skimmed milk only - and don't even think about sugar - sweeteners only). For lunch, have a packet of low fat cup-a-soup with four rice crackers. You'll be eating fish and salad and live yoghurt, so very healthy, but the weight will drop off. I lost half a stone in a week this way (plus I was walking fast for 30 minutes a day - put my ipod in and off I went). It's really a formulation of the weightwatchers diet so it really works. Enjoy your holiday! XX

I lost nearly three stone, toned my body up but that took one year and it was hard work. I try to eat sensibly now but my job means that i do not get the exercise that i should. I notice a bit difference in my leg shape but that was all over and not just one area. One week, sorry but it cannot be done.
take care

Hello,
Well I read your question and as much as Dr. Pete's question is a bummer..I am not a Doctor but through my own experience, I ahve learned that..genetically I tend to get a chubby belly and good leg's..so when I was in they entertainment business..I worked out alot..too much as a matter of fact and ya know what .. nothing was ever good enough..and then I said to myself..I am going to
a) watch what I eat and drink
b)not try to fit into a size 5 when realistically I take a 10-11 comfortably with a room to breath
c) Prioritize my schedual and find something physical I enjoy doing that is a mental release...I try to swim when I can find the time now and it is much more enjoyabe when you actually feel like doing it and your not looking at your rear end to see of it got smaller when your done..and whatever you do..dont ever ever ever compare yourself to another human...you are your own..!..good luck enjoy your holiday's moderation is boring..just get back on track when your done pigging out!!moderation is alway's better though..lol

It is also not possible to remove fat from one area of your body, this is what is known as "spot reduction" and is a myth. You can only tone up the muscle in a specific area on your body - and that doesn't remove the fat because they are two entirely different things.
If you have bigger legs than that is because you have a genetic disposition to store more fat in that area. There is nothing you can do, aside of surgery. Much better to accept yourself for who you are because you're going to be seeing yourself for a long time!

The best thing is going to be diet & excersise. Consume plenty of carborhydrate foods during the day for your body fuel, and stick to a protein based dinner, as carbs after 7.00 in the evening are not a good idea if you want to lose weight. So eat right, do plenty of running, swimming, walking, and if you go to the gym sqats & lunges are great for toning those legs.
All the best & good luck x
