I want to tell her how I feel but whenever i try there is always something in my way or I just lose confidence. I know I shouldn't be scared and just tell her but I just can't seem to go through with it. How can I increase confidence in myself?

You can Google that question and get all those tips online.
You need to act brave and pretend you are just acting in a theater. Treat it as a joke. If she rejects you , say you were only joking and quickly change the subject.

Person to Person contact is only one of many ways in which you can express your feelings to another person. There are so many other ways in which you can reach out to her. It could be a love letter, a note with a flower, or a poem. Be creative in your approach and play with it. I think girls love ingenuity and playfulness. It brings excitement, mystery, and intrigue. Girls love that. Be different and add humor. In sure time she will definitely separate you from the rest pack. Because you are different. In the meantime, remain cool and dont act desperate. Meaning... dont call her everyday. Give her some space. She will love you for it
