How can I help her get over her ex and feel better about herself?

ok so me and her have been talking for awhile, she assured me she carea bout me and i mean alot to her, you can tell she lieks me but right now shes not ready for a realtionship because she is in the process of getting over a mean break up with her ex, the guy JUST LAST WEEK FINALLY after them being broke up 7 months told her hes dont with her and doesnt want to "talk" liek that with her anyomore after hes been cvonsatnaly ignoring her for like idk 3 months, so they went out for 3 years sand she says it hurt alot, at the same time shes trying a diet, and today shes told me wahts bothering her she thinks shes fat, now shes not the skinniest girl, BUT SHES DEFINALTY NOT FAT WHAT SOEVER right now i know since im just her friiend i want to be here for her waht are some things i can do, i really want to help her

iMuse agony auntBreakups are hard, and it's horrible to see a friend go through it on their own.

Take her out to places to help her take her mind off it and tell her that you're there for her. Treat her as if she was your girlfriend ( as in compliments and treating her nice ).

Unfortunately time is the cure for things like this. She'll realise that and give it a few weeks or months and hopefully she'll feel better.
