Talk to her. You've both noticed each other so you may as well take the next step - have a conversation! That is the best way of getting to know someone. If you're in class together then just ask her a question about the work or comment on something to see if she responds. Once you break the ice and talk to her, it'll get easier. You could build on that then, it's just key that you make a conversation with her for now. Also, smile back at her. You don't need to be ashamed of yourself. If you smile, it'll give her a clue that you like her. Good luck.

for starters you need to start a conversation. Even if its just to borrow something like an eraser or scissors i dunno, ANYTHING. it sounds like you have never said anything to her at all and you need to start. no cheesy shit, just talk, i dunno how old you truly are dude so its hard to give solid pointers. uni is different from high school etc,
