I am currently a very bad stutterer, been stuttering since I was age 6, don't recall it EVER being as bad as it is now, can barely talk at all, to anyone. I regret that I let this hold me back with women, as I always let it hold me back. I've never dated or had a relationship or had sex. Now, I currently lost my job, and really want a relationship with a woman. But I don't feel like I even deserve one until I get a job and my own place. And the speech - well, the good thing is that I am a KICK ASS writer. Would be a comedian if I didn't have a speech problem. Wrote about 20 pages of a stand-up, edited a magazine for my school. How can I get rid of this stutter? Reply to this Question Share |

MrMattSNJ is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI've tried all kinds of therapies. Some have worked for periods of time and then they haven't always worked so well. I'm just tired of everything. I really do wish it would all just end.

Seriiously consider a speech therapist, or some kind of dramatic (actins etc) class. Sometimes this kind of therapy can help.
