writes: anyway i just finished my high school working and i had never dated before. at family functions i always get asked about my dating life getting married having kids etc. i'm in the shawdows of people who want/have kids and started all these things young(ie. getting married,dating) and i'm sick of the jokes. how can i get them to pry out of my business? If you feel like it, look up the statistics on marriages and divorces these days, and memorize them and the next time someone asks you about your love life tell them those statistics, and that given your age and your activities you are way too busy to start a relationship. If they argue, excuse yourself and call a friend and vent.
