writes: Ever since I was little I've wanted to be in the military. When I turned 18 I applied for an ROTC scholarship and was about to get one. Then they looked at my lungs and said "oopsie! you can't sign up." I don't remember another time when I was so disappointed.It's been over a year now and I still can't over this. Having your childhood dream crushed by something that wasn't your fault and can never be fixed ever. I've found it real hard to study in college cause whatever I do will be settling for second best. How can I get over this?

Sometimes, life deals you lemons. I say, make Margarita's out of those lemons!
If it is not meant to be, then it is not meant to be. It may take years, but one day, you'll look back on this and see why it wasn't a good choice for you after all.
There is more out there than just the military.
