Any ways i guess my question is how can i get over feeling so wierded out when my dad reads stuff? my older sister agrees it feels weird too.

it sounds as if you're concerned about your dad's feelings. poetry and such may bring up emotions and all though it's a good part of healing, it's more difficult to see someone else with hurt and painful emotions than it is to see ourselves. It's OK though. You write, and express yourself how you choose to do it.
Sorry about your loss. Take care.
