reader, anonymous, writes (21 December 2012): I'm thinking because your ex has a child to you, he assumes he has more rights over you than any other man does. Also (though you say he's not thinking of his child in all this) the thought of any other man possibly being around his child probably makes him jealous too.
I suppose you've already made it clear to the ex that you want nothing more to do with him, but if he wishes to see his child then he's welcome to. So I think you really have no choice but to be blunt with him and say that if he doesn't stop harassing you, you will get the police involved and also a harassment order against him if you have to. See what happens from there.
