You just have to sit him down and tell him. I've been there, so I know how you feel. But sometimes you have to take a risk, or fae losing it all anyway. So take the risk :).

I think he likes you to be honest. The hugs say a lot. Why don't you be brave and tell him how you feel. It's the only way to find out for sure. Good luck.

 I think you should tell him how you feel. It sounds as if he's attracted to you already and friendship is a great way of starting a relationship!
