A male Nigeria age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hi,

I love a girl so much that i want her to be my wife as the love is so much that i don't feel love for any other girl the way i feel for this girl. She's just 20yrs old and said she won't go into a relationship until she gets to higher institution of learning.

Please, tell me what i can do to have her love as i can no longer wait since i've waited for 2yrs plus now. I don't want to let her go. She said that she's never being to a relationship before, not for once. I need your urgent advice as i really love this girl.

I look forward to reading from you. Thanks!

A female reader, Oblivia Sweden +, writes (27 October 2007):

Oblivia agony auntI think that whatever happens, you must allow her to go through the education that she wants, otherwise she will always regret she stood her chance to get a good degree and that will hurt your future life together. Tell her how you feel and that you are prepared to let her fulfill her dream of education. That will make her happy to know.

She is young, give her some space and let her think about what she wants out of her life. If you do, and she then chooses you to marry, you will know she loves you back.

I can't give any better advice since i strongly believe that a marriage will not stay healthy and happy if one or both of the parties don't feel they made the choice on their own, or feel that they were forced to make too huge sacrifices (like not going through the education).

Wish you all the best!
