I am band members with a guy I really like but we only see each other at these rehearsals and if I leave I know I won't see him again until I go to my band's gigs etc. I'm pretty sure there's something between us but I know he is shy. He has just found out that I may be leaving. I'd like to ask advice on how I can maybe make something happen. I like him, I think he likes me, but if I leave I want to still see him. Do you think his reaction to me leaving might tell me if he's really interested before its too late? Despite him being shy?I want something to progress as before we've had all the time we've wanted in rehearsals, but now something has to happen or I won't see him again. Please can I have an idea on how to do my bit now for there to be a chance of us going out!Thank you

Let me make it clear...You either do something, or someone else will. People always waits for the right time, yet time never waits for the right people.
Sound to me like you are just as shy as he is. If not...why are you waiting? For some other girl to step and take your place??
Let us know when your first date will be :)

Hi, Just drop something into the next conversation you have about leaving the band along the lines of " its a pity i've got to leave the band.... hope we'll stay in touch though "
Just act all innocent... he'll get the message
good luck

It's as simple as asking him if he'd like to hang out sometime. Don't be afraid, it's not a big deal.
