Our first loves always hold a special place in our hearts, without exception.
However, as we grow older, so does our outlook on life. Our needs, desires and what we expect out of life also change at the same time, although the rate of change is pretty slow.
Take a look at yourself now - can you honestly say that you are the same person that you were when you met your first love?
You don't mention whether or not you are in a relationship yourself? If you are on your own, then I guess it will be harder as your nostalgia will be more intense, but bottom line is, you have to let go.
If you were meant to be together, then guess what? You would be together now and you two would be ones getting married. You broke up at some point for some reason. Everything happens for a reason.
Be happy for her and work on making yourself as happy as she clearly is. Good luck!
