writes: I am 13 years old and I have just realised I like this guy that I've known for around 8 months now. I think the only reason I didn't see this sooner was because I didn't want to admit it to myself. He teases me quite a lot but I only see him once a week at a youth club. I don't know how to know if he likes me back and to make matters worse my best friend likes him too. She has only known him for a few weeks though and I don't know how to see if he likes one of us or neither and if I can be confident enough I would like to know how I can flirt subtly to show I'm interested. I really would like to know how I can tell if he likes me or my friend though. Thank you.

 Heyyah, There are many ways in which you can find out if someone likes yuh. Yuh can flirt, hint on that he might like someone else and see what he says or just ask him. Thu third option is usually for people that wil tell thu lad they like him. For flirting there are different things you can try. If he makes jokes yuh could laugh at them slightly even if yuh dont think they are funny. This shows that yuh are payin attention to him. Also dont make too much eye contact. When you first see him, give him a smile and look away. Not turn around just look at thu floor, back to him and then to thu floor again. This is flattering for him as it will draw his attention to you as to why yur not looking straight at him. Yuh can also maybe if you are sitting next to him or something then slyly knock your hand into his. This is a major way t show yuh if he likes yuh or not. If he pulls away quickly yuh know hes either nervous or doesnt lke yuh.Yuh can also try askin him what he thinks of people. Yuh say yuh think yur best friend likes him. Firstly dont let a lad come between yuh. Secondly say t him, oh hey what do yuh think of ..... and then see what he says. Hint on that yuh like him.
