writes:I cant get this out of my head and i know i should.I used to go out with this guy dave. when we started talkin, i found out he just got out of a on and off 3 month relationship. I didnt really care since he was single, because whats the harm in that now? So, afterwards we started goin out but his ex, stacy, kept gettin back in the picture and it was pissing me off.We fought before but i kept getting over it and kept giving him chances. After winter break when we got back in school i apparently 'ignored him' when i didnt even see him cuz i didnt kno where his classes were in the first place! he made a big deal out of it and ended up callin stacy later that night. I asked for him to come over because i wanted to make up, but he's like nah im wid stacy (knowing it would really piss me off cuz we had a situation wid this before and he promised this shit wouldnt happen again).I was determined to break up wid him cuz i couldnt take it anymore but instead, he beat me to it.So im pissed that he feels good bout himself breakin up wid me when i didnt do anythin wrong in the first place.He apologised and we hung out two weeks later. but then i stopped talkin to him cuz apparently he was talkin shit to stacy bout me and how i was 'ugly'. A month later he texted and he apologized for that.I gave him another chance and we hung out. He wanted to have sex and im like no cuz other girl is in the picture. He was determined to prove that she finally out of the picture and he did a good job, i'll admit. he was suppose to come over the next day but instead he completely blew me off without any explanation.Later on stacy told me that apparently they made up that night after i left, and how he claims HE made a mistake and everything. Omggg who says all this shit one night, then the next couple hours changes his mind completely??? I let him know how much of an asshole i think he is and he clearly knows i hate him.I didnt deserve anythin he put me through and how he messed wid my feelings. He beggin to go back wid stacy. Stacy is really hurt by everything to, cuz he hurt her more but she's dumb enough to keep coming back to him and everything..idc.How can i erase him from my head??? I'm trying but its takin to long especially cuz she keeps talkin to me about him all the time and i keep thinking bout him. ughh please help!

Tell her to stop talking about him.
Stop being near him or contacting him.
This went on for far far far too long. As you grow older you'll learn to tell a guy like this to bugger off LONG before it gets to this stage.
