How can I drop him a hint?

hi

theres this guy who has told me he likes me and he knws i like him. we are on the same course at university, he has asked of rmy number and we txt frm time to time etc.

but he is just not making any moves, my friends say he is shy around me etc but like we are good friends but he just doesnt seem to be making any moves!

we cant seen to have a normal conversation like before we knew each others feelings, becuase of what we now know. i just really want him to take things furthur but i just think he will soon

is there anyway in which i can hint to him?? and what do we do next..carry on just being friends should i just wait till hes ready?? he has told a close friend of his that he likes me -what does tht mean he is serious?? please helping me out!!
