No matter what I say, he thinks so much into it and gets the wrong impression. It's getting me down, because we always worked so well in the past. How can I deal with these irrational moods? It is a phase in his life.Like a fisherman , when they want to go out to fish , they will have to see the weather report. If it is rainy there, stay at home , avoid going there.

Then if he denies it, perhaps you could cite some examples of times he has been irrational. Maybe he is insecure about something, but you can only find out by asking him.

I know what you mean, you probably feel like you can't say anything right so don't say anything at all - maybe go for days angry?
