A female Canada age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend and i have been together for almost a year and he is a great guy. Everything i have been looking for and we had an awesome relationship until about a month ago and he has a girl working for him that i dont get along with.

I have brought it up to him because he lied about her working for him and I dont feel like he would ever cheat on me but i think that the more i show him my insecurities the more distant he gets and i need to get our relationship back on track. I just dont know exactly how to do it. I feel like i am getting mixed signals from him some days it's great others not so much. How do i keep from losing him?

A female reader, Dawnie United Kingdom +, writes (9 February 2007):

Dawnie agony auntHi it sounds as though you are insecure and there must be a reason for this, you say you don't get on with this girl - did you know her before you were with your bf?

Its not good that he lied about her working for/with him but maybe he felt that telling you would upset you. Try talking to him and and see what he has to say, maybe ask for his reassurance and leave it at that. Then concentrate on making your relationship great again.
