writes: hello im a 15 year old girl i live in the uk, and i have very low self confidence and i am very shy. So because of these factors i can't talk to boys, over the net like msn i am fine but when it comes face to face i reali struggle with it. It never used to bother me but i start college in september and i am going to need to talk to new people and i want to start looking for a boyfriend but because i don't have any confidence i'm finding hard.How can i get more confidence to talk new people especially boys? I would be grateful of any help Thank you

Guys are easier to talk to than girls most of the time. We're more comfortable, so if you introduce yourself, you'll find that it's quite easy to make conversation. Just smile and be yourself, and you'll be fine. You'll find that guys prefer shy girls to outgoing girls, because there is more to learn, and more challenge to learning it.

Hey anonymous. The best way to get used to talking to people in general (but especially boys) is just to do it. The more you do it, the less scared you'll be. Also, read a href="http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0KNG/is_10_3/ai_80322797"THIS/a article. It has some really good advice in there about how to be strong inside.
