It's been over a year and I expected to be over him by now but I still have fantasies about him and CAN NOT believe that I wont ever have a chance with him. He is 52, single, never married with no kids. He is not handsome but he has the most beautiful personality ever and I love him. I keep waiting for the day when we could be together and I know it's wrong to do so because he is never gonna waste his time with a 19 year-old. What should I do? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

swordandredrose is verified as being by the original poster of the questionBut I'm not his student anymore and it's not illegal. I'm in college now and he was my high school teacher. His job is at no risk here.

You won't be the first, you won't be the last student to fall in love with a teacher. You have put him on the pedestal, he is in command of the classroom. He is a God. Now think of him as your next door neighbour,55, single, not very good looking. He is just a man, old enough to be your grandfather. Now think of this. If anything at all did happen, he would lose his job, his pension, his livelihood. When you are 39 he will be in his 70's.
It is not allowed for teachers to be with students anywhere, they lose their jobs. Is this where you are heading.
