How can I attract a boyfriend? I want to have someone reliable who I can count on to be my boyfriend.

A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I'm 16 going on 17 and I still don't have a boyfriend.

My friends have boyfriends and have at least had their first kiss except for me.

It's not that I want to have a boyfriend because of my friends or that I'm in some kind of race to find a boyfriend, its just that I feel I'm ready to be in a good stable relationship and seeing couples when I'm out and about reminds me of how lonely I am.

I want to feel like I have somebody to count on but I don't know how to get a boyfriend and even though I try to be somewhat confrontational and smile at guys to show I'm interested, nothing really happens. How do I get a boyfriend?
