She told me she wants to start a new life. I understand her desperation. But are these indications that she's interested in me? Does she mean she'd like to be closer to me? Does she have feelings for me? I am a guy in my 30s. Reply to this Question Share |

I see your quandary, here. On the one hand, she is just having an open conversation with a friend. On the other hand, it could be her way of hinting to you to make a move. As a woman, I have tried that tactic in the past, when I was too shy to come right out and proclaim my interest in somebody. How does she act around other people? Does she seem like the shy type? If not, then she is probably just using you as a sounding board..venting to a willing listener.

I would say perhaps here any guy will do, take a step back just be a friend and watch the situation. Unless you are attracted to her, what type of woman is she. If life is boring she has the power to change that herself, you are not responsible for her.
