writes:There's a guy who i like and i think he likes me too but there's quite a big age difference. Anyway he lives in a different country to me but when i went to visit the country he was in, he talked to me a lot. Most of the time my brother and sister were with me when we were talking, he would gaze at me all the time and i would be hypnotised by his eyes. He asked me who i would phone first when i got back and i said him because he would be on top of my contacts list. When i came back from holiday i phoned him after a few days and he asked why i took so long to phone and i said it was because i was busy. Then he started asking who i would want to come over to visit. I said a long list of people clearly knowing he wanted me to say him. I ended up saying i wouldn't want him to come as a joke. He said he knew i didn't like him. But the thing is i thought he knew that i like him. I don't want to say that i like him because he's at the age when he's going to be married soon and i've still got a few years yet. I fantasise about him and I getting married but i know i'm likely to get my heart broken when i end up going to his wedding. I don't know how to let him know i like him without plainly saying i like you. Can anyone give me ways to drop subtle hints? please keep in mind that it has to be over the phone so I can't touch his arm or anything. Please help me, I'm so unhappy

In weddings they say "speak now or forever hold your tongue" or something like that.
You may get your heart broken...but if you don't say what you feel, what is the point of feeling it?
There is also a song that says "Say what you need to say".
If you can not say it over the phone, email, text, or letter...then, it need not be said.

 just tell him. You cant do subtle hints with a guy over the phone, hell I'm not convinced you can use subtle hints with a guy fullstop!
If your too embarrased then text him? but over the phone the only way I can think of telling him you like him is by telling him outright.
