I was dating this girl for about 6 months until things started to get rough. Before we were totally in love and thinking our love will last forever. Then we saw each other all the time, every day, and i started losing my friends. So did she. I didn't know it affected me but it did, and i started to lose self esteem and confidence. I think she did too. Ever since about 3 months in, shes always told me "you are my world, i love you so much". Then after both feeling kinda miserable, she broke up with me and said we'd be better off friends. I decided to block her from my life. I have my friends back, and so does she. But the odd thing is, her display name on MSN messenger still reads "You are my world"...i want to get back together with her, i just want to know how and when. How and when should i get back together with her? how should i approach it?

Dazzerg agony auntWell the first thing you need to do is open the channels of communication, so a txt or an IM on Messenger would start the ball rolling. Dont launch into it, just chat, ask how shes been do all that stuff and then see where the flow of the conversation leads.

I think the problem is just you need to both take time out from each other once in a while so you have your own space within a relationship. It seems you should be able to arrange that. Maybe make a date after you have talked and just go with the flow.
