A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

recently a guy from my class text and ask me "are you plu?" what is that suppose to mean? is he interested in me?

to be honest, i can't even believe that he will ask such question, mainly because he is those type of straight acting dude. i'm bi and no one knows about my sexuality except my sister.

my problem is that, i hear that gay/ lesbian poses a strong "gaydar" sense, but why i can't sense it in anyway?

i can't understand in what ways i give out a gay vibes that could make ppl think i'm gay???

just a bit stuck here, any advices would be appreciated.

thks philips, you have a point there. although i'm not touchy nor show my sensitive side easily type of person but i definitely have eye contact with him several times. we stare with each other for few sec, and it's so hypnotizing. maybe that's why he text and ask me all of the sudden...

Philips agony auntI'm straight, but i've been approached by gays. Its seem they sometimes get desperate and try their luck on straight guys also.

I've notice gays are very far away from this macho and manly ego stuff. They seem more sensitive.

However you recognise a gay mainly on eye contact and body language. Gays can look at other boys lingeringly, having a subtle desire flashing in their eyes. They are also more touchy with other boys, which is a bit embarrassing for a straight man to be in this situation. You know touchy in an overly affectionate way.
