writes: okay so my 1st homecoming is in a little more than a week, but i'm selfconscious about some acne on my back and the dress i'm wearing will show it. Is there anything i can do to help clear it up quickly, or any specific creams, medications, scrubs, that work well?

reader, anonymous, writes (1 January 2009): you could go to a make up counte n ask for some kind of concealer-so u can cover up any marks...but defo seek medical advice...they will send u to a skin specialist n give you some creame. Also, when u shower/bath make sure u dry your back properly-i was told that acne can also result from damp skin-so properly towel dry. also, wear light fabric when u go to bed-wearing wool that makes u itch or watever can result in acne. :)

Medication would certainly help, but probably not in a week. Go to the pharacist and ask -- there are over-the-counter remedies to help. Wear another dress if it doesn't clear up.
