writes: Hi,Me and my fella have many ups and downs. The problem is he finds it hard to stand up to his mum. She throws him out and calls him worse than s**t. It really does get to him but lately he has been taking things out on me. What can I do? He is so depressed. Last year she physically abused him, so I kind of give his mum a good hiding and she still to this day says I was in the wrong, even though she put him in hospital. What can I do?

And as your b/f is concerned, make sure he knows that you are there for him and if he takes it out on you, stay clam and try to calm him down in the best possible way. If possible try and get your b/f to see a counsellor to try and help him with his depression. Hope this helps.
