writes:my boyfriend mother doesnt like me for many reasons and i know one would be that me and my boyfriend have gotten into situations that had to stress out our parents and i know that can be resonable cuz if i were her i probably would think im a troublesome kid too but recently my boyfriend told me that when she use to go to highschool she would have problems with alot of puerto ricans and she despises them and thinks that all of them are the same it gets me mad kuz just becuz ive done a couple of stressful things in the past it doesnt mean im a bad puerto rican and i want to show her that all puerto ricans arent the same but i never would actually have the time to talk to her and i dont think that would be an option on her list she alwaysz tells my boyfriend that she wants him to be with a nice guyanese girl or a nice trinidadian girl i guess kuz she thinks they arent as troublesome as puerto ricans...i mean mayb i must have gave her a bad impression but she doesnt seem to like any of my boyfriend friends kuz majority of them are spanish and the only friend she does like is korean but i know for a fact that me being puerto rican is one reason why she doesnt like me and i think its wrong of her to think that of me kuz shes never really taken the time to meet me like that and i doubt she wants too...i guess its kuz of mix in culture kuz hes hindu and im catholic i dont know what to do but i want to prove to her that not all puerto ricans are bad Reply to this Question

 So prove it to her, don't get into any more bad situations that would cast an unfavorable light on you. Behave yourself like a lady. Keep up with your schooling. Eventually she will see you in a new way. Time is on your side, you can wait her out. Good luck.
