There is no need to be embarrassed at all. Why would you be? For damaging your boyfriends penis?
This has no reflection on you in any way. It doesn't somehow make you bad, or bad at sex, and I doubt he will go around bragging about it.
This happened to me when I was 17, I had to explain the blood on my Mum's 'best' settee. It is caused by being a little too vigorous. No harm in that. No sex for two weeks though.
How about checking that your boyfriend's foreskin is healing up? That would be a nice touch.
