Question - (24 November 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 26 December 2010)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My bf is trying to make me jealous but i dont know what he gets by doing that. he is a natural flirt and keeps saying that he is faithful but also likes to flirt with other girls and that i shouldn't get mad. he hates jealousy so i must shut up. he keeps saying i should flirt too. the truth is i am tired of this. i am keeping my options open. if i meet someone new he will be history. i want to say that yes i love him and he loves me i got no doubt about it but his game is getting the best of me. what would you do?

angelDlite agony auntyou are not happy with him flirting but he wants to carry on. this is a big issue to have such a difference of opinion on. you both want each other to change so i think there is not a future with him, not a peaceful one anyway.

good on you for keeping your options open coz i think you woudl prefer someone who isnt into flirting with other women, making you jealous and then getting mad at you coz you dont like it! i notice you posted your question a month ago and wonder what the situation is now. flirting is not a terrible thing in itslef but knowingly hurting you and carrying on doing it is

xx
