writes: i've been going out with my boyfriend for 2yrs, this yr (yesterday) he got an xmas card from his ex-wife. He threw it in the bin because he could see it made me uncomfortable. I read the card today day when he went to work, she was asking him to email her.what should i do about this ?thank you

Show the boyfriend the card, ask if there is anything still between him and his ex. Ask for honesty above all, you can deal with what you know but will continue to imagine all sorts of half baked truths if you try and sweep it under the carpet. An ex is a reality in your relationship, it wont go away so you have to deal with it open and honestly, be prepared to hear things you dont like, and deal with them. Its better than the uncertainty
