writes: I've been seeing this guy for about a year and a half now and he's always been more into me than I was into him. He treats me with so much respect and love and I don't know why but I sometimes find it hard to tell him I love him. I do love him to death but I question whether or not I'm in love with him. I have cheated on him in the past and we have fought and broken up several times but everytime we always got back together and tried to work things out. Everytime we broke up I was devastated and begged him to forgive me and he eventually did. The thing I need advice on is I how do I know if I'm in love with him? He left for business for a couple of months ago and still hasn't come back. His departure has taken a big toll on me but I don't know if it's because I'm in love with him and can't be without him or because he's my first love and I can't seem to let go.

 They say that you dont know what you've missed until its gone,and in your case its happening to you.What are you scared of? Committment?..is that why you have cheated on him? He forgave you but there is only so many times a person can forgive.Ok..if you really miss him and your heart is aching for his return then i dare say you probably love him but you dont know how to tell him? This man needs to know that you do love him that you care about him and the only way to do that is to tell him.Have you got his contact address?...can you call him by phone? Tell him today,otherwise you will lose him to someone else.

 I really can't answer that question for you, you are the only one that feels your feelings and knows your mind this I'm afraid is something you might have to work out for yourself although I don't see the problem..
You love him and he loves you, you miss him when he is gone and you seem to want to be with him from what I have read in your post so does it matter if you love him or in love with him either way it's love and you are happy.
