He stayed with me recently for 2 weeks and had his work phone with him which he kept switched off. He switched it on before leaving and got a call at 6am from a girl he said is just a friend from Canada where he was based 3 years ago. After much quizzing from me, it turned out they dated but was 'nothing serious' and are now just friends. It just seems strange that he brought the phone, kept it switched off then she phoned at such an odd time (1am in Canada!). He has also told me about calls he makes to Canada from England and Germany. I believe him when he says he loves me and wants only me, but is this girl really just a friend or is there more to it? hey. i actually know with experience that long distance relationships dont work in the end. if i was you i would ask your boyfriend to choose either you or his canadian ex-girlfriend. from asking this question you will truely find out if he loves you or if he is just using you.

Well...this is my honest opinion about this..long distance relationships are not really that tight. Neither person knows what they other is doing and although there is loads of trust on your part...he is a guy and we all know that men are more physical creatures than anything else really. I am not doubting that he loves you but safe guard your heart dear. If you really want to find out ...just ask him one more time and see his reaction and response...you will know...but when you do that ...leave it there and don't bring it up again...ciao...ana
