High school crush lives nearby... fate???

Question - (1 August 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 1 August 2010)
A male United States age 30-35, *ohnnyBananas writes:

I recently moved to a new place with some friends. Today, I found out that my high shcool crush lives 3 houses down. I would like to say Hi again but I don't know what approach to use. She knows I had feelings for her in high school and I still think about her 3 years after we graduated. I almost feel that this is fate. Is it?

I would like to talk with her before she leaves again for college (2 weeks approximately). Should I just go to her door and say 'Hi' and hope she'll be willing to chat... Should I go on as if I never found out she lives a few houses down... Your thoughts are all welcome. = )

Thanks.

EbonyBlossom agony auntNo harm in going to say hi. How did you find out she lives there though? You don't want to give the impression you're stalking her!

However, do just go there on a friendly basis, and don't expect anything. She'll probably be a little freaked out initially if she finds out you are still interested after not seeing her for three years. She may have drastically changed anyway. But you won't know unless you talk to her. Go over, say hi, get chatting, be patient, and wait and see how things work out =]
