No problems with posts from public computers. To anyone who is worried about whether their questions are getting approved or not always make sure you create an account or login to your existing one that way you can see the status. Any problems with getting published always feel free to email me - thanks! Andrew

I have posted a question 3 times to try to get help yet I am not a hoax, just desperate. Also, when I first received answers, I realised I had presented an incorrect perspectve so tried to rewrite it to give a more accurate view. My last attempt did not even rouse on reply, yet I am am so distressed by 'my problem', a counseller has scored me as greatlt at risk. So please, if you see repeated pleas for help, it may not be a hoax, just a cry for help!

You just go with the flow I think. But if you think it is a hoax, then ask for more info, you can usually figure out the lies then, 'cos they trip themslves up!

Usually if it's just too weird -- "I'm in love with my cousin's donkey" -- that sort of thing. Also, some people post the same type of question over and over, and it has the same theme each time.
Most of the hoaxes don't get through, and I would estimate that more than 98% of posted questions do get posted.

Hi
It's not always possible to tell and I do sometimes see questions posted that I think may not be true, although I'm sure the vast majority are good.
We also have some secret tools behind the scenes that give us an indication of whether a question is likely to be from someone or some computer that has a history of posting bad questions.

Because it will be a stupid question and way of the ranks of normality and in fact it will be way of the ranks of weirdness!
Some people just post things to get a rise out of people and I think this just takes advantage of the agony aunts caring nature!
