A female Mexico age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I'm curious and I would like to hear from guys.

How would you feel about a girlfriend who sings you to sleep every night?

I've always dreamt of having a boyfriend who would love that.

I wish I could sing like Mariah Carey but my choir teachers always said they loved my voice, so I'm not horrible... I sing okay, I guess... but I love to sing.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Thanks for all your answers.

Here's a song I think would be perfect:

It's hard though, because I'm a girl and my range is different. I would have to harmonize a little :)

A completely different view on the situation.

My husband used to be stressed out from his job.So he used to say,"Sing for me".

I would get all excited as I was a singer during my uni days.I used to drink hot water so that my voice sounds good, sit down and start singing.

Two lines and Mr.Appreciation goes off to sleep.I sat wondering for the most part what is wrong with my voice?

You might want to sing him to sleep and a guy might make you think that you are Mariah Carey. In reality I feel my husband would have slept even if a donkey had brayed near him.Probably that's why asked me to sing as well.*Looks grim*

Yeah, she was Kim in Miss Saigon, she was Jasmine in Aladdin and also sang the voice of Mulan.

Lea Salonga... she's the one who played Miss Saigon, right?

I think she also did the voice in Aladdin? :)

She has a really beautiful voice too.

I'd love to sing like Amy Lee... or Lea Salonga (bit of a contrast there lol.)

I wish I had Mariah Carey's range... I'm a mezzo, though :(

TasteofIndia agony auntA little vice versa here, I'll tell you that it would drive me up a wall if my fella wanted to sing me to sleep. I don't care if I was dating Frank Sinatra (I'd have a lot more problems if I was dating a dead fella, but let's pretend.), I like my silence when I sleep!!

I think it's completely and totally cute that you want to sing your guy to sleep, but I think that it depends on the guy. Some might absolutely love it and rely on your sweet vocals to get them snoozing, but some (like me), might love when you're busting a tune in the daytime, but when it's lights out - it's quiet time.

I'd love to sing my boyfriend to sleep! That's such a sweet idea! I don't know that I'd sing like Mariah Carey though... she's not to my taste lol.
