I'm a nice girl, sweet, smart, and I've got my stuff together (good job, etc). We broke up and he'll call me from time to time both drunk and sober saying that he misses me, that he loves me, and again that i scare the sh*t out of him. He's with someone new now. but called me yet again while with her. I can't figure out if he is genuinely confused, if he wants me, doesn't want me, if he's drunk everything etc. There is an age difference between us, I'm 25 and he's 22. I kinda don't know what to do at this point. I asked him, 'do u miss me?' and he responded, "i don't' like that question. cause i do...but there is more than just that." I don't know if he's referring to current girlfriend or, I just don't know what to do. Problem is that i love him. Keep trying to let him go- it's not working :(

I think cupidus has said it all, pay particular attention to this part of what cupidus wrote (Also if all falls through with his NOW GF he's certainly set you up for a rebound. That little hook he keeps poking you with from time to time. )
The next time you speak with him tell him not to call anymore and that its over between you. then you should keep right on moving forward. stop wasting your time and energy wondering what he wants or doesnt want, life is too short to be messed around and his messing you around big time.

He's with someone else, so he's unavailable to you.KNOW THAT He misses you, sure, I miss my ex's from time to time. no biggy. If he's drinking, and if he drinks as if he could use AAthan you are a smart girl to keep your distance. Also if all falls through with his NOW GF he's certainly set you up for a rebound. That little hook he keeps poking you with from time to time. He's not ready to settle down, his words, it scares the sh*t out of him. He likes his freedom to have his new girl and have you too. Do you want to play in his sandbox? There is the NO CONTACT rule, you could instigate that. That would put some perspective on things.Because of what I've heard from billions of people throughout the years on this planet, is that if a guy is REALLY into you, mountains and giants and flying machines can not stop him from beating a path to your door.
