Hi I am 29 and have been living in a verbally abusive relationship, I THINK.

In the last 5 years things have gotten worse for me, i dont think theres a time that anything nice is said about me and if we do have a conversation its usually negative about someone else then is turned back on me and my imperfections after having a child which i love and cant get enough of things got worse as he grew jelous which just pushed me over the edge, i told him how i felt and even left for couple of days when we finally talked he made it my fault cause he was stressing over bills and i didnt seem to care.

He started patranising me instead of verbally abusing me and did stop the personal attacks for a while but i fear its too late i dont think i love him anymore but not sure how to leave, i dont want to hurt him he thinks everything is fine in our relationship.

eyeswideopen agony auntCertainly sounds like a verbally abusive relationship to me. If you aren't happy you need to get out and if that hurts his feelings, tough, he should have kept his big trap shut before he heaped aspersions on you for 5 long years. He brought it on himself.
