writes:hi. i have this problem. recently, i became addicted to some kind of online game here, i met many different people out there. until then, i fell in love with someone who's also playing that online game. he's the first one to say his feelings for me, we became a couple since april 21. but he told me at first(when we're not a couple yet) that he's still in love with a girl that he met first before me, he;'s really bothered because he also love me.. i dont know what to do right now, now that we're a couple. should i trust him or should i just let him go?

reader, anonymous, writes (27 April 2009): As long as he is not contacting her on a daily basis without you knowing I see no reason to let it go? I still love someone else besides my husband, and I fight with myself everyday or nearly everyday so that I won't contact this other person at all. Maybe this guy that you like is the same way.
And also look at it this way-he could've kept his feelings about this girl secret-but he didn't, which is a positive step forward, it shows that he is willing to be open with you and not deceptive hopefully. Look for more of these postive steps, etc. Ask him questions, but don't put him on the spot with questions like "Are you cheating?" just questions like, well do you still talk to this girl? etc.
