i've had a major crush on a boy in my year for a while now. i thought he was interested but he seems to be slipping away from me if that makes sense.he is pretty popular whereas i am not so sometimes he doesnt talk to me around some of his friends. he is also very confident and i am not so i dont really approach him as he does to me. i think this makes him feel i am not interested. how can i let him no i am interested without being completely upfront about it like some girls? i dont want my confidence to stand in the way.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (14 January 2010):

You are now at the stage where you need to tell him how you feel. He's totally confused about how you feel, and nothing you do other than talking to him about how you feel will make him suddenly understand. Take a deep breath and tell him, or you'll lose him.
