writes:okay well i met, met my boyfriend 4 years ago. although we weren't dating we had sex about 3 times in these 4 years like sex buddies i suppose is the term to use. well he is in the navy so it makes it harder for us to get to see each other then i went travelling to the other side of the world for a year. during this long time apart, we kept in contact, i could feel that i was getting feelings for him, it was as if evey time we spoke of my return the more excited we both got. but my feelings towards him got stronger and stronger. like i was about to burst.we planned to meet at my house, for a catch up and he stayed but for the 1st time we just lay together, like we had missed each other so much rather than get naked and have sex, we had a romance.this happened for the next few weeks no sex just sleeping together....after a few weeks my feelings were still growing so i told him, i cant go on doing this that had feeling for him and wanted to know if i should stop them, he said no that we could try a relationship! because he is in the navy we only get a few days a month if that.my problem now is, i have fallen in love with him, and every second of every day and night i cant get him out of my head. its driving me crazy, what can i do????? i dont want to frighten him by telling him i love him too soon.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 November 2006): well...don't regret it. If you love someone tell them, because unspoken words can break their heart. If you aren't ina relationship yet, don't tell him -- he might get scared. Wait a few more months remember usually, it's the comfort you feel that's making you tihnk you're in love, you could be, but wait it out and see if the feelings are still there after a month or two of going out. that way you won't scare him and you'll know if he really likes you too! dont' worry. If it's love...it'll happen.
