 Have you kissed him yet? What have you been doing/how is he acting when you are on dates? If he's just dry over texts but connects with you in person then I guess he's just not a big texter. Not everyone likes to text/call, and come off as dry and boring, when in reality they really like you. So it depends on how he is when you two actually meet up, don't judge it only on the texts.
