 hmm it seems to me he is afraid of commitment due to watching others never lasting well i think you should put the marriage off until he is comfortable and sure and ready to marry you. If you don't wait you're going to end up forcing him and that will only make matters worse

 Ask oldersister is absolutely correct. Just wait until he is ready, if you rush him or pressure him it will either drive him away, or you'll get married and he will resent you for it and the marriage will fail. Just give him time. No need to rush :)
