If he's been doing this since you started talking then its probably his normal manner, in which case you might not want to talk to him as much.
If not then point out to him that he's being rude and ask him if anything's bothering him. Say you want to be a good friend and help him out.

reader, anonymous, writes (14 January 2011): If he is acting rude and mean toward you, do not stand for it. If he isn't going to treat you with respect, then he isn't worth your time. He needs to know he can't get away with that, so either he changes his behavior, or you should let him go.

Well if yall had a relationship in the begin and it end then this may be his way of saying we can be friends... and you should take it how it is cause you can really get hurt emotionally trying to make things work when he just want to be friends...but you can go as far as talking to someone so he can know what he missed out on... :-}
