writes:I like a shy guy and he used to come into my work a lot but would never talk and I could never tell if he liked me back. I was in a few classes with him at school and then I moved. A few months ago I chatted with him online and he told me where he worked. He knows I like him. I went into his work twice this summer and he looked busy. I always felt really awkward when I was in there But he is shy. He doesn't go online much now that he works and it is summer. I am afraid of going into his work a third time. I jsut want to make conversation.Any suggestions?!?!?! I want this to be as smooth as possible/

reader, anonymous, writes (6 August 2006): Do you have a phone number for him at work? If so, why don't you call and ask him if he'd like to have lunch with you? Keep it light and casual - don't push him if he says no - and don't spend a lot of time on the phone since he is at work.Good luck!
